Today I visited her in the studio at Kendall Koppe, getting ready to move into the gallery space next week where she will begin her 2 month residency before a solo exhibition.
I love Sukaina's work, her use of colour, the marks she makes and the surface quality of the pieces. Her work is very tactile and has a real sense of materiality which I am attracted to.
