Fun-A-Day is an art project that a group of friends begun in 2004. It started in Philadelphia as a way for the group of friends to stay creative and motivate each other to make things through the winter.
The concept is simple: pick a project, do it every day in January, then show the work the following month in a group exhibition.

Over the past eleven years, the project has spread and collectives from around the world have participated in their own group exhibitions.
"Fun-A-Day seeks to remove the barriers to creativity by offering opportunities and invitations for participation. The project seeks to create a welcoming forum for people to share what they do, to strengthen existing communities of artists, and to kick-start new ones. Fun-a-Day is an open invitation to foster a daily creative practice."
The premise was embraced by a number of people in Dundee in 2014, and following its success, is taking place again this year.
