Tramway
to Host 2015 Turner
Prize
Tate
announced today that the Turner Prize will be hosted at Tramway, Glasgow in
2015.
Glasgow will be the first city in
Scotland to host the prize. The
bid partnership involved Creative Scotland, Event
Scotland and the city council
and beat off competition from three other venues.
The Turner
Prize was first shown outside London
at Tate Liverpool in 2007. Since 2011 the Turner Prize has been
shown at a
gallery outside London
in alternate years.
