My artists books in the Here Gallery Bookshop

To accompany my exhibition at the Here Gallery, I have a number of artist books in the Here Gallery Bookshop upstairs.

Testing install options in Here Gallery

After unwrapping all my sculptures I began testing different ways of presenting the works in the space.

The moment of truth

I was rather worried that after the 9 nine journey my fragile sculptures may have become damaged, and so on reaching the Here Gallery I had an anxious few hours whilst Rhianna, Christine and I unwrapped the contents of the car.

Brooches

Whilst making my sculptures the floor of my studio has gained some rather beautiful spillages of plaster. This inspired me to make a number of unique brooches.

Here Gallery here I come!

Over the weekend with valuable help from my kind friend Kara I managed to wrap all my sculptures to take to Bristol.

On Monday morning I collected the hire car and Steph, Anna and I carefully packed all the sculptures, along with the drawings, remnants, artist books and install equipment into the car.

As I finish the sculptures for my exhibition in Bristol, I have been experimenting with install options.

Here Gallery Bookshop

Above the Here Gallery is the Here Gallery Bookshop stocking a wide range of very inviting artist publications, prints, collages, magazines and other art objects.
