International day of the disappeared

As Painting and Printmaking administrator at Glasgow School of Art, I am sometimes contacted by individuals or organisations with opportunities for staff and students. A couple of months ago I was approached by the British Red Cross who were looking for a student to do a painting for the International day of the disappeared campaign. This was no usual painting thought; it was to be done so as to camouflage a figure into the background.

I am delighted that I have been able to assist in the realisation of this project, and hope that it raises awareness of one of the many activities of British Red Cross.
