Schema Event

Thanks to all those who came to Che Camille on Sunday for the Schema exhibition event.

I had a really good day, with plenty of interesting chat and great music by First Tiger.

I will be adding more photos very shortly, but here is a taster.

Schema event - Sunday 25th April 12-5pm

The Pimms is waiting and the band (First Tiger) are all set for the Schema Exhibition event tomorrow (Sunday 25th April) from 12-5pm at Che Camille, Glasgow.

The exhibition has been up and running since the beginning of the month, and will continue until May 4th.

GIAB

GIAB was a great success, and we are pleased to have received some great feedback with lots of people being very inspired by what they saw. The workshops were fully booked (no pun intended), with lots of people wanting to make more!

GIAB 2010 is here!

Well, after a great deal of planning, preparation and hard work, i am really pleased to say that the 1st day of GIAB 2010 at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall was a great success.

Lots of photos will follow soon!

The event is open again tomorrow from 10am-6pm.

Smooth Radio

GIAB 2010 was mentioned on Smooth Radio today, and will continue being plugged up until the event itself!

Schema Preview Rescheduled - Sunday 25th April - 12pm - 6pm

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 'preview' for Schema:a solo exhibition by Helen Shaddock has had to be rescheduled.

It will now take place during the day on Sunday 25th April 2010 (specific times to be confirmed).

The exhibition is running 6th April - 1st May, and so can be viewed prior to the preview.

I have been cutting out the covers for the GIAB 2010 catalogue.

Spreading the word about GIAB 2010

I have been busy distributing postcards and displaying posters about GIAB 2010 in readiness for the event on 16th and 17th April.

Schema install

Whilst others have been searching for Easter Eggs, I have spent the last couple of days installing my solo exhibition at Che Camille.

The work I am exhibiting is all new work made in 2010, and so I am particularly excited about showing it and gaining feedback.



The wonderful Gary Bolam (in charge of all things art at Che Camille) and my dear friend (and studio companion) Stephanie Spindler kindly helped me with the install.
